Compass error codes

This page lists the Compass Local (Compass for Windows and Compass for Mac) UI error codes and descriptions. For updates to our systems along with detailed release notes, please see our system updates page.


Error Code Error Description
22000 An error has occurred. Please contact customer support.
22001 Internal communication problem with the CertiportNow service. Please restart using the icon in the footer or try again later.
22002 Internal communication problem with the CertiportNow service. Please restart using the icon in the footer or try again later.
22003 Internal communication problem with the CertiportNow service. Please restart using the icon in the footer or try again later.
22004 Failed to create script. See Compass log for more information.
22005 Installation data for the following Office Activation ID is not yet fully supported: {0}
22006 Autodesk license not found. Please try again.
22007 Autodesk license verification failed. Please see your proctor or contact customer support.
22008 Either an exam group must be entered or an entry selected.
22009 The Exam Group ID is invalid. Please check the ID and enter it again, or see the Certiport Center Administrator for assistance.
22010 The exam selected is not downloaded yet. Please contact your Proctor or Administrator for assistance.
22011 Voucher is invalid. (XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX)
22012 The Exam Group is setup for an exam that is not compatible with the version of Microsoft Office installed on your computer. Please change your Exam Group selection, or contact your Proctor or Administrator for assistance.
22013 Please select or enter a Voucher, or select that you do not have one and then click “Next”.
22014 This Exam Group is assigned an exam which is not compatible with this Voucher. Please change these selections or contact Customer Support for further assistance.
22015 In order to proceed, a Proctor must log in and associate this machine to a Certiport Authorized Testing Center.
22016 This machine is configured as a LAN server and cannot deliver exams. To take an exam, please login to a Client machine. For further assistance, please contact your Proctor or Administrator.
22017 This machine is configured as a LAN server and cannot deliver exams. To take an exam, please login to a Client machine. For further assistance, please contact your Proctor or Administrator.
22018 This Non-Disclosure Agreement must be accepted to take the exam.
22019 We are still installing required components for your exam. This may take a few moments to complete.
22020 An error occurred while updating exam content.
22021 Unable to start ITD pre-check. Please try again later.
22022 Required fields have invalid or missing information.
22023 The voucher input specifies a single exam and we could not find this exam in our system. Please see your Proctor or contact Customer Support.
22024 System Error. Please restart Compass to take this exam. If this issue persists, please contact Customer Service.
22025 System Error. Please restart Compass to take this exam. If this issue persists, please contact Customer Service.
22026 Update your Compass to the latest version.
22027 System Error. Please restart Compass to take this exam. If this issue persists, please contact Customer Service.
