The Medical Administrative Assistant certification prepares learners for careers as Medical Administrative Assistants and lays the foundation for them to excel in the medical field*. The Medical Administrative Assistant exam validates a candidate understanding of:
- Medical office procedures
- Basic healthcare terminology
- Basic billing knowledge
- Interpersonal communication in a medical office
- Medical health records
The exam consists of between 40 to 50 questions and candidates have a maximum of 50 minutes to complete. A candidate who earns this certification is qualified to work in a medical office as a Medical Administrative Assistant.
