Proctor compliance
The importance of proctoring
The integrity and validity of Certiport certifications are fundamental to our mission and the reliability of examination and certification practices. To uphold high-security standards, Certiport Authorized Testing Centers (CATCs), and their role-based associations (including exam Proctors) are monitored to meet security protocols.
Proctors administer certification exams on behalf of Certiport. Each person proctoring a Certiport certification exam needs their own unique user account that validates they have personally reviewed and accepted the Proctor Agreement. Once an individual is approved as a proctor, they represent Certiport and are responsible for adhering to all Certiport examination processes and policies
Checking & verifying your compliance
Action required:
You will need to verify that your Certiport Test Candidate account with the Proctor Role is registered as a unique individual who has personally accepted the Proctor Agreement. This includes validating your account has:
- Your first and last name as the individual who read and accepted the Proctor Agreement
- Your valid email address
- Your valid mailing address
- Your phone number (optional)
It is possible to have one Certiport user account, but be associated as a Proctor to multiple, different CATCs. If you are associated as a Proctor to multiple CATCs, you will need to use this Test Candidate account for each of those CATCs.
If you don’t currently have a Test Candidate account with your own first and last name, you will need to create a new account so that you can read and accept the Proctor Agreement. Once this has been completed, an Organization Administrator/Member will need to associate this account to any CATC where you will be a Proctor.
