What is CERTIFIED Academy: IT?
CERTIFIED Academy: IT is an immersive online professional development program for Career and Technical Education (CTE) educators, particularly those focusing on coding, cybersecurity, and IT education. This is your chance to learn from your fellow technology educators and industry professionals.
From now until November, we’ll be hosting training sessions to help you learn from education experts and tech industry pros. Discover new ways of teaching and dive into resources for your classroom. Plus, those who will receive a professional development certificate, allowing you to demonstrate the hours you spent learning and growing through CERTIFIED Academy.
What if I want to get certified?
In addition to our bi-weekly training sessions, we’re offering the CERTIFIED Academy: IT Bootcamp experience. Bootcamp participants will be able to access additional recorded webinars and sample class projects you can use with your students. Plus, you’ll receive a certification exam voucher for one of the following programs:
You can use your voucher during or after the CERTIFIED Academy course, allowing you to experience the exam before offering it to your students. Plus, you can prepare with full access to curriculum and practice tests before your testing day.

Diversity in Cybersecurity
A truly diverse workforce is required to protect companies and countries from a growing variety of cyber threats. However, according to a report from (ISC)2, the current cybersecurity industry is predominantly male and white, with only 26% of cybersecurity professionals identifying as ethnic and racial minorities, and only 14% identifying as female.
